What is Oracle AppiWorks Connector?
Oracle AppiWorks Connector is a Looker Studio connector that helps to connect Looker Studio with Oracle and use it as a data source in Looker Studio.
Oracle AppiWorks Connector turns your data into informative dashboards and reports that are easy to read, easy to share, and fully customizable.
What is Oracle?
Oracle database is a relational database management system. It is also called OracleDB, or simply Oracle. It is produced and marketed by Oracle Corporation. It was created in 1977 by Lawrence Ellison and other engineers. It is one of the most popular relational database engines in the IT market for storing, organizing, and retrieving data.
How does it work?
Step 1: Choose "Oracle Appiworks" connector by Jivrus Technologies from Looker Studio Partner Gallery
Step 2: Click on 'AUTHORIZE' button for authorizing your google account.
Step 3: Once you click Authorize button, you can provide access with your Google account .
Step 4: Click on 'Allow' button for Access google Account.
Step 5: Once you are authorized to google account then you need to authorize for third-party service. In this case Oracle Appiworks.
Step 6: Click on the 'AUTHORIZE' button for authorizing your Oracle Appiworks account.
Step 7: Once you click on authorize, you need to log in with your Appiworks Account.
Log in with Google or provide the required email and password for login.
Step 7: After authorizing Appiworks account. You will see the configuration page shown as in the image. If you dont have any connection, you have to create one. For that, click on the url provided next to the text "To continue please click here".
Step 8: It will again ask you to authorize. Sign in with your google account or credentials
Step 9: And then click on "Create new Connection" button.
Step 10:To create an Oracle connection you can use the credentials option. Then click on the "Connect" button.

Step 11: Once the connection created, go back to the configuration page.
Note : You can establish multiple connection here.
Step 12: In the configuration page, choose connection, select object and click on "Next" button.
Then Click on "Connect" button.
Step 13: The available fields from the Tasks Object are listed.
Step 14: Use this as a data source and continue normally with designing your report in Looker Studio.
Step 15: Click on the 'Create Report' button.
Step 16: You can customize the dashboard as you want.
